SUMMER INSTITUTE ON CONSTRUCTION OF PRIMARY DATA IN CULTURAL ANTHROPOLOGY June 23 to July 16, 1987 at the University of Florida Deadline for Application: FEBRUARY 27, 1987 WHO SHOULD APPLY: The institute is intended for Ph.D. anthropologists who are now teaching, or are likely to be teaching field research methodology in graduate and undergraduate programs. Also, individuals in applied research with responsibility for gathering primary data in agriculture, health care, education, and other domains are encouraged to apply. The institute will cover a variety of microcomputer uses in ethnographic field work and data analysis. STIPENDS AND EXPENSES: Stipends are provided by the institute (funded by National Science Foundation) for participant's lodging, food, and instructional expenses.
