Interpreters and Interpretive Techniques
June 24-26, 1987
St. Paul, Minnesota
SIGPLAN '87 focuses on all aspects of the design, implementation, and use of
interpreters and interpretive-like techniques that appear not only in program-

command languages, and a wealth of other areas. The emphasis of the symposium
is on pragmatic techniques, practical experiences, and important innovations.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to: real-world experiences,
problems, and solutions in the use of interpreters for report writers, query
languages, inference engines, simulators, and other applications; abstract
machine design; economic considerations in the use of interpreters; special
capabilities of interpreters; problems with interpreters and their solutions;
and unique internal designs.
