			Organised by the AFUU

This is the annual technical conference of the AFUU ( Association Francaise
des Utilisateurs d'UNIX). It consists of a three day technical conference,
with a parallel session of workshops. There is also a (large) associated
exhibition organised by Network Events in association with the AFUU.

The official language of the event is french, although certain presentations
will be made in the natural language of the presenter (normally english).
There will be no translation facilities available.

09:00	Opening remarks by Dominique Maisonneuve, president of the AFUU.

09:15	A general presentation on the state of the UNIX market in France.

09:45	Discussion (questions and answers) on the above presentation.

10:30	Operating systems for work stations.

11:15	Internal and external communications for UNIX.
	A state of the art appraisal and an overview of the associated market.

12:00	LUNCH

14:00	X/OPEN - Your guide to portability

14:45	Europeanisation of UNIX applications. A prenetation by
	AT&T - UNIX Europe Ltd.

15:30	ANSI C standardisation.

16:15	After UNIX ? (NASH, Andrew, GNU ?)

09:00	IBM 6150 (IBM PC/RT) workstation. Presentation by IBM France.

09:45	Performance evaluation of UNIX workstations.

14:00	RTU - Real time UNIX from MASSCOMP. A presentation by MASSCOMP.

14:45	TX - Tolerant Systems UNIX, and on-line transaction processing.

15:30	System V on the 1000 series. A presentation by Texas Instruments.
