Ran into someone today who mentioned that the Sonic Youth were about to release their cover version of the whole of the Beatles' ``White Album''. Is this true? Also - it seems that the harvard uucp site was having heart attacks with its netnews stuff (at least, as far as we can tell) and is back on its feet, so here at UMB, we're getting mod.music.gaffa again... except I haven't seen any of my messages, so I wonder if the link is only up one-way.
