[mod.music.gaffa] DougBands in the New York Times

nessus@mit-eddie.MIT.EDU (Doug Alan) (09/10/86)

Wednesday's ``Pop Life'' column in the New York Times talks about Uzi, Roger
Miller, Birdsongs of the Mesozoic, and Throwing Muses. It's a good
overview, although I don't think the Dangerous Birds (Thalia Zedek's band
before Uzi) were ``fondly remembered,'' at least by this writer. Also, I
don't see the ``electronic'' connection that is implied in the title of the
article.

P.S. I'll trade my ``Dreaming'' CD for a 12" single of ``Sat In Your Lap.''
