On the naff side of life, Sandra Berhardt (the comedienne who played the love groupie for Jerry Lewis in "King of Comedy") got the Butthole Surfers mentioned on national TV last night - much to Dave Lettermen's chagrin - she said, "yeah, I was hanging out with the Butthole Surfers down in Tex-" (audience goes "oooooooh" - y'know like in Phil Donahue? These hip New Yorkers!) and David shuffles his cue cards and says, "now Sandra (sarah?)"... and she says, "no really, they're cool, you oughta have them on your show" - to which David starts reading what's on next night. Don't expect 'em on Late Night - until they change their name. *sigh*... "hey - hey -hey" Hofmann
