Oops, well I guess 10 year old memories fade a bit. The correct answer to the Neu question was they were comprised of Germans : Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother. The only album I could find in my collection is called NEU "75" on Brain. The connection with Cluster (i.e., Moebius and elius) is that the principals got together and formed a 'Super Group" called Harmonia in 7 However, as is true with most of the vintage Berlin stuff, everybodu appears on everybody else's albums which make the distinctions harder to draw. Harmonia, it appears, however, was the last of the combined efforts from the Berlin Electronic types since soon thereafter, Cluster reformed (Moebius and Roedelius) and did the Eno stuff. Michael Hoenig moved to the USA and started doing other stuff including some colaborations with Philip (Imention this because it seems that Hoenig was one of the more freelance Germans and appears on a lot of stuff). Sorry for any confusion I may have created. Besides, noty too many people even give a shit about this stuff. It was, however, an important influence on the way I personally respond to modern synthesis and should be given a listen (possibly while vegetating on some canabinoid cloud). John ------
