Really-From: kyle@CS.UCLA.EDU Apparently there are plans afoot to ban certain people from "love-hounds". Objections to the nature of certain postings have prompted the more militant members of the group to begin calling for limits on membership. Of course these agitators are cowardly plotting in some dark corner of the net; I guess they hope to implement their policy while many of us are away and uninformed. Are the rumors that I hear true? Did I miss some posting about this problem? Are the people that have proposed the banning(s) going to step forward? I think that before any such plans are implemented, we are entitiled to know what is going on. Kyle D. There are no plans to ban certain people from Love-Hounds as long as
I'm running this mailing list! On the other hand, if people continue
to insist on calling other people names they don't want to be called,
then I may have to take the list off of autopilot (which the list is
usually on) and start actively moderating, by returning pointless
and/or over-inflammatory messages to the sender to be rewritten.
Everyone be good while I'm away, and maybe I won't have to do that.
