Diamanda Galas is probably the unchallenged queen of the multi-octave screamers, but you should avoid her if you have tender ears (and musical tastes.) Diana Rogerson (from Nurse with Wound and maybe Current 93) is no slouch herself. You can get Re/Search books in Champaign/Urbana. In fact I've seen them in not one, but TWO different book/record stores. This must be a hep place, eh? I'm not sure if Tim and Karen Finley are that compatible. Tim's thing is oral gratification, while Karen Finley seems to lean towards anal activites... Bill
