Beware of flames.

Someone asked why we should mention David Lynch here on Love-Hounds.
I'll tell you why. He hired Brian Eno to do the Prophecy Theme for the
movie 'Dune'. That's enough reason for me. And for anyone into psych-
adelic movies, you better check out all of his. I just saw 'Blue Velvet'.
It's gotta be the best movie of the year. Surprisingly the critics
liked it too. I wonder if they do blotter?

I have to agree with IED that Eno is not as great as Kate, but I like
him anyway. I'm presently trying to pick up everything I can get by him
on CD and will post a listing real-soon-now of what's available. The
parallel import ban *SUCKS*. I suppose we're all supposed to wait with
baited breath for the big record companies to get their dicks out of
their asses and release things domestically 3 or 4 months (or never)
behind the rest of the world. Isn't our government wonderful? Whatever
happened to the concept of FREE trade? They can't be worried about
royalties to the artist, can they? I mean, the artist gets his cut from
the corporation in Europe or where-ever that made the pressings. What
the @#$% excuse did they give for passing this $#@! law anyway? Guess
this is just a dinosaur protection law, to protect the 'big' record
companies and insure that they get their 'market share'. It's just
terrible that those importers were dumping a few records on the market
before the domestic dinosaurs could do it. The race goes the swift,
doesn't it?
