[mod.music.gaffa] Despite IED's claims to the contrary, Kate Bush isn't God

It appears that IED disagrees with my list of 24 albums which I feel
are equal to or better than the work of Kate Bush in IED's four categories
(thematic complexity, musical complexity, multi-level meaning, and some
bullhonk about production that we won't go into right now). Unfortunately,
his arguments against my list consist almost entirely of repeating certain
titles followed by question marks.

The point I was trying to make was that not only are IED's 4 criteria
rather subjective as criteria, but naming Kate Bush as the epitome of them
is equally subjective. I maintain that "Won't get Fooled Again" is more
thematically complex than, say, "Wuthering Heights." There's more multi-
level meaning in "Diamond Smiles" than in all of "Never for Ever." And
"Jig of Life" is as close as Kate can come in musical complexity to "The
Little Lieutenant of the Loving God."
