A good quote about power is: "The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views... Which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering." -Face of Evil pt. 3 About time? There are numerous Baker quotes such as, "Gosh that takes me back... or is it forward? That's the trouble with time travel, you never can tell." (Androids of Tara 1) Or "Good afternoon- Or is it evening here? That's the etc." (Horns of Nimon 2) Actually MODIFYING time, I'm not sure about. Invasion of the Dinosaurs (Which I haven't seen yet) might have some good ones. How about this one from Day of the Daleks part 2? Jo: They just sounded like a bunch of thugs to me. Doctor: Fanatics, Jo. Changing history's a very fanatical idea. History, their history, must talk a lot about Sir Reginald. Or perhaps you'd like me to take it in a little? Finally, there's the momentous scene in Genesis of the Daleks 6, in which the Doctor considers changing the entire course of history. You can take about any quote from that one. Doctor: But think of all the good things that might come from the Daleks. Many races at war might stop and combine to defeat the Dalek menace. Sarah: If it was a disease or some sort of bacteria, you wouldn't hesitate. Doctor: If I pointed out a child to you, and told you that child would grow up totally evil, to be a ruthless dictator who would destroy millions of lives, could you then destroy that child? Sarah: We're talking about the Daleks- The most deadly creatures in the cosmos. You must destroy them! You must complete your mission for the time lords!
