< Hof posts Firehose tourdates, including March 23 Chicago >
Uh oh... a local promoter has announced (pretty definitely) that Firehose
will play in Champaign on the 23rd (I think). Does this mean we get screwed
again???

Also Tom Cora (of Skeleton Crew) will be here early in March. Also
Husker Du, a few years too late. Sigh.

Heehee... try rec.music.misc for the Springsteen worshippers...

WXRT has changed... they're a crock of shit now. They play the mainstream
end of the trendy/college stuff. Even "The Big Beat", their alternative
music (ha!) show, is truly pathetic. You're not missing anything. Any
given rock-oriented show on WEFT (Champaign) blows them away bigtime.
