Miss GOD suddenly appeared on the norwegian
evening news (TV) yesterday, without any warning
at all (unbelievable, I know !). A quick news-
flash from the recording of the Ferry-Aid single
showed Kate, with a head-set and microphone,
singing two lines of "Let it be". I can only
confirm IEDs comments of QUALITY in her contribution.
She both sounded and looked marvelous. I can't really
comment on the other contributions to the song since
only Kate was shown singing solo, pluss the chorus.
I'm afraid this does NOT reflect any particularily
good taste from the people at our news desk (they
didn't even mention her name !), it's more likely
that she was shown only because she sings the solo
part right before the chorus, which shows the usual
"as many celebrities as possible in as little place as
possible" picture of the english pop-world.
I suppose this means that they distribute a video of
the recording as a promotion of the single, so now you
are warned. TAPE all TV-news broadcasts, in case it should
turn up on YOUR TV stations !!
