Really-From: mike@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu (_Mike Trogni_) This two-record set covers The Smiths from April 1983 to November 1986, with Side One being all new stuff. The other sides of the album has a lot of stuff from 1984 on, including B-sides like "Unloveable" and "Asleep". Most of Morrissey's lyrics still deal with painful love, death, and unfufilling relationships. Couple of tracks I really liked: "Half a Person" "London" "Ask" plus "You Just Haven't Earned It Yet, Baby". For those of you who know what the most important thing about a Smiths album is, the cover star is Shelagh Delaney, some British tart who can "really smoulder" into the camera. :-) Mail from Smiths fans is appreciated. Mike

Dear Mike,
I read your posting of a new Smiths album due out on March 31.
On March 5, I bought an import album called "The World Won't
Listen". It has "Panic", "Ask", "London", and some new songs,
along with "Bigmouth Strikes Again" and "The Boy With A Thorn In
His Side" from "The Queen Is Dead". I wonder if the album is
the American version of this one. However, the import album
is just a single record, not a 2 record set.
Oh well, I will have to buy it once I find the money and time.
Yes, I am a fellow Smiths fan and a student at Rochester Institute
of Technology in Rochester NY. I am a second year Comp Sci student.
Well, since you requested mail, I just HAD to reply to you.
Have a wonderful day, and write back if you get some time.
Kelli

Really-From: celtics!roger@seismo.CSS.GOV (Roger Klorese) Actually, it's a retread collection of the same tired sound-the-same singles, 12-inch singles, etc. that the Smiths have been dumping on the public for the last six months. I'm getting well and truly sick of Morrissey's high-horse pseudo-moral stance as he gouges the paychecks and allowances of his fans. -- ///==\\ (No disclaimer - nobody's listening anyway.) /// Roger B.A. Klorese, CELERITY (Northeast Area) \\\ 40 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 +1 617 872-1552 \\\==// celtics!roger@seismo.CSS.GOV - seismo!celtics!roger
