[mod.music.gaffa] L-Hs KompilaTion tape master list

Love-Hounds-request@EDDIE.MIT.EDU.UUCP (04/16/87)

Really-From: IED0DXM%UCLAMVS.BITNET@wiscvm.wisc.edu

Following Dan Hall's suggestion, IED is posting the
list of L-Hs who have requested that the L-Hs KompilaTion
tape be routed through their homes at some point. The addresses
are listed in the same order in which they were received. If
you didn't want your home address published, you should have
said so before you sent it in to IED. Sorry, folks.

Now, for the mail-bag:

>...But hey, WOULD YOU RATHER BE READING IED????

Probably.

>From: ganzer%trout@nosc.mil (Mark T. Ganzer)
>Subject: X4 Hidden Message (solution?)
>Just spent the last hour listening to the hidden track in X4
>at various speeds and have come to some conclusions. I have whittled
>down the number of syllables to nine (the phrase is said slowly with
>much echoing). The best transcription I can get is "I get blasts from
>too many instruments" although the "blasts" could be "laughs"...
>
>Oh, to rest my aching ears before trying WYWM backwards...
>
>"... a sound that could kill someone from a distance"
>
>MarK T. (and it nearly did) Ganzer

Well, hmmm...Needless to say, IED is very skeptical so far,
since he has placed a lot of faith in his
"I bet my mum's gonna..." interpretation. He
will study the issue tonight, and deliver his judgment in this
courtroom tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. Court is adjourned. All rise.

Oops, I meant to give you mine, too. But I don't need to be high on
the list. Not sure I have any rock esoteric enough myself, but I can
probably borrow some. Unless you want a track of Bulgarian choral
music or Hungarian dance tunes. (Seriously, that's what I collect,
folk dance records and such).

Thanx for orchestrating the tape routing!
