Hofmann) Yeah - haven't seen this mentioned but Psychic TV are releasing a 10 record series of psuedo bootlegs (pseudo in the fact that they are bootlegging themselves) from studio board tapes of some of their latest gigs. TThe issue I picked up was "Made in Heaven" - recorded on Dec 23 1986 at Heaven in London. Another one is "Made in Japan" which was recorded in Japan (and so on...). There are 10 records in all as I've mentioned but the first nine will carry pieces that you put together and send in to get the 10th album. You can subscrive to the series or look through your record stores for them (make sure what you buy has the piece of paper in for the 10th record). They are all ltd. edition of 3000 so... The music youask? Well, the "Made in Heaven" does have the characteristic Orridge wanking (improvised stupid lyrics and overloaded screaming) but the band jams (like the Dead) on songs that sound like Velvets and goes hog wild on the 2nd side with the scary-scary stuff. Definitely an interesting listen.
