I would like to get Kermit for the MASSCOMP. I know that I can join the users society and get it, but that is taking time. I was thinking that people can obtain the public domain stuff through the net much faster by having people uuencode it and post it or by an ftp on the arpanet. So as for Kermit, could someone post it in some encoded form or tell met how I can ftp it from their machine. If you are running RTU 3.0, you can build the BSD version which works just fine except for the UUCP line-locking problems. If you'd rather, I can send a floppy of my version of kermit in the usmail. -- sob, moderator ]
