There is a new piece of software available for the Masscomp call DADiSP that allows interactive signal processing in a spreadsheet-like environment. It makes heavy use of Masscomp graphics capabilities and seems to be easy to use. If you need something that allows signal arithmetic, signal calculus, signal editing, statistical analysis, convolution and similiar things, this product might be of interest. It does not do direct screen dumps, but does allow data to be written to a file for processing with plot and so on. It does not allow data acqusition direct to the application at this time, but that is a proposed enhancement. It is a bit expensive, but may be a viable alternative for users that do not have the time or resources to develop custom applications. Contact DSP SYSTEMS at (617) 577-1133 for information and the availability of a demo diskette. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This overview should not be interpreted as an endorsement of the product. I welcome any other opinions on any other thrid party product for the Masscomp.
