We MASSCOMP users have suffered with ved and vi long enough. In the later distributions of GNU Emacs, such 18.33, we find support for the MASSCOMP 5000 series. I have not tried to load it, but would be pleased to hear from someone that has. The source is about 6 megabytes. I am not sure about how to get it, except that I have it. Perhaps you can read comp.emacs to find out how to get it from mit-prep. As a last resort I can mail it to you by email, but 6 megabytes is a lot ! Besides, I would have to shar it all. That way you would not have to worry about distribution. -- sob ]

EPI has modified Unipress Emacs V2.10 to run reasonably well on the 5600, including some limited mouse support. If you have 2.10 and want these changes, let me know. John Shore seismo!epiwrl!shore js
