Does anyone have any idea when NFS is going to be announced for
Masscomps? We are going to be getting a network of Suns and I'd like
to be able to use the Masscomp as a client for sure, and possibly as a
file server. This is assuming that MC has given up on EFS and is now
working on NFS. Any information would be useful.

[The last information that I have is that NFS is being implemented and
will be the supported distributed file system on the Masscomp. EFS has
been abandoned. Don't expect to see NFS on the Masscomp until the end
of the calendar year {ARGH!}. I am told that the reason for all of
this is the Excelan 201 board buffering problems under sp-70. I would
hope that we will see NFS sooner than this. Maybe we can get some REAL
answers from the Masscomp folks at the Users' Society meeting in April.
