Does anyone know if anyone at DRI subscribes to this mailling list? Is there a mailing list that someone at DRI does subscribe to? I am curious to know if DRI is at all aware of the discussions that have been going back and forth (particulary Robert Royar's background task hacks) on this list. Robert Heller

As far as I know, nobody at DRI is reading the mail list. However, they do have a machine on USENET, and may be reading mod.computers.68k. If so, they'll have to speak up for themselves. I've been working with the Amiga, and C/A has people active on info-amiga/net.micro.amiga. It's nice to be able to get authorative answers to questions about the system; I strongly encourage any DRI people out there to speak up - it'll improve your customer support and reputation. <mike

DRI has an area on CompuServe which they monitor. They respond to requests from people who have registered the product -- you must send a special message to the sysop (I think) to get access to the technical questions section of the DRI bulletin board. Should this group attempt to communicate with DRI and other 68K users through that medium? Would Compuserve object if we regularly posted DRIs Compuserve emissions on this net? On a slightly different topic, has anyone decided whether the Atari/68K/GEM stuff is close enough to vanilla cp/m-68k to share compilers, etc? jim mullens oak ridge national lab
