By an informal concensus, the readers of net.wobegon seem to have shyly
decided to expand the charter of the newsgroup to include the "folk arts" in
general as well as the Prairie Home Companion in particular.
So far the new discussion has centered around folk music, but if anyone out
there wants to talk about quilting, barn dances, lye soap or the recipe for
Powdermilk Biscuits, I'm sure you'd be more than welcome.
