A year or so ago I bought some Q-bus cards from American Information Systems. NS32016 processor, floating-point, 3mb of memory. All to be a co-processor with an LSI-11 as bus arbiter and I/O processor. Unfortunately, in the several months that elapsed while our (U. of CA) lawyers and theirs were beating out a non-disclosure agreement, AIS went bankrupt, and had nothing to disclose. So here I am with some interesting hardware, a couple of software tapes, and very little documentation. Is there anyone else out there in the same boat? Or maybe slightly better off? We could trade sad stories or information, as seems appropriate. -- carl lowenstein marine physical lab u.c. san diego {ihnp4|decvax|akgua|dcdwest|ucbvax} !sdcsvax!mplvax!cdl
