I've just received a message from pegasus!hansen stating that 4.3BSD and Sys Vr3 both have graphics character support. He also sent me specifications on this support; it won't take much work to make "tgraph" source-compatible with sVr3 and 4.3BSD, providing (1) the "graph" functions for sVr3 and BSD, and (2) allowing programs for other systems using "tgraph" to be source- compatible with the new graphics character protocol. (Although 4.2BSD users will have to put up with a terminfo-like database for the tgraph characters!)
