Subject: MacZap-4.1 Patcher Files available

I requested and obtained permission from MicroAnalyst to make the latest
set of patches available to all the MacZAP users I can reach through the net.
There are 103 Patcher-files which I packed and uploaded to be archived at
SUMEX. Description of the archived files follow below.

These 'Patch-files' are used with the program "MACZAP PATCHER" to allow
installation of many popular programs in a hard disk, which otherwise is
often impossible or obstructed by copy-protection.

I packed (with PACKIT-II) and hexed (with BinHex4) and then uploaded the
following 3 files to the FTP-directory of NGP:

/usr/pub/ftp/public/zap4.1_Disk-Info.Hqx
/usr/pub/ftp/public/zap4.1_PATCH.doc.Hqx
/usr/pub/ftp/public/zap4.1_Patches.Hqx

Their contents is as follows:

1) file "zap4.1_Disk-Info.Hqx"

    contains 2 packed files.

        a) a catalog-listing with the names of all the Patch-files (named
like the program that they patch), and all other files contained
            on the MacZAP-4.1 release disk.

        b) a MacPaint document, displaying the file-icons and names as they
appear when you open the MacZAP disk.

2) file "zap4.1_PATCH.doc.Hqx"

contains the packed documentation file called PATCHER TYPES on the
MacZAP disk. Explains the Patcher-files, contents and use.

3) file "zap4.1_Patches.Hqx"

contains 4 packed files, each containing 25+ packed Patcher-files,
selected from an alfabetically sorted display "by Name", but not
packed in alfa-order within each of the 4 files (don't worry if this
doesn't make sense - you'll see what I mean when you unpack)
WARNING: an attempt to unpack all 103 of these files onto the same
disk will cause problems, due to limitations of the DeskTop capacity
(the MacZAP distribution disk is 'especially' massaged to allow more
         files on one disk)

Disclaimer: MacZAP is a commercial product of MicroAnalyst Inc. in which
I have no interest other than as a user. I do know the
owner and developer of MacZap socially, however, and wish
		him well in his endeavors.

PS: I have already posted these files to USENET myself.
