First, a question: Does anyone know if the Mac ROM/Disk upgrade has hit the market yet? Two stores that I've been in recently say June, one other says that they heard from Levco that they are available in some areas (they specifically mentioned San Diego and Sweden, for some reason). I REALLY want the new ROM's and a decent size disk drive -- I'm real tired of squeezing into 400k. Beyond the ROM/disk, it looks like there are a number of reasonable options for further upgrades. Since Apple thankfully didn't make the 512K Mac obsolete (thanks, Apple!) there isn't a dying reason to upgrade to a Mac+. I don't think I really need the SCSI port, and looking at prices (these come from Computerware in Palo Alto) I can get a Levco 2 Meg upgrade for less than $600 and a Paradise 20meg for $850. This seems to be a MUCH better upgrade path than going to a Mac+ with a SCSI disk. Are there any overriding technical issues I ought to be aware of that would make the Mac+ a better upgrade path? chuq
