Unfortunately, as a return address for nearly all the authors of articles on this list I want to write to, it fails to do anything for me (or the mailer, apparently). Now I do begin to understand that "author@topaz.arpa" really means that said author is not on the arpa net. However, in many cases there really IS an alternate and usable path via the arpa net, which for some reason the author doesn't post (along with a favorite saying). I'm shy, I don't like to post all my responses on the list. I would like to correspond with the authors of articles by letter. Is there some way I can get the real address??
