documentation if there is a newer manual available,  Does anybody know if there is?

In case you're interested, Sams Photofacts (long known to radio and TV hackers
and repair people) now does various computers.  It has both the 400 and 800.
I don't know if it has info on the XE versions.  Typically, it would show
oscilliscope readings at various points, voltages, part numbers, etc.
It is intended to be an aid in figuring out why machines don't work properly.
Cost is $19.95.  Should be available from many electronics shops.

That may not be what you are interested in, but since I hadn't every seen it
mentioned on INFO-ATARI8, I thought I'd bring it up...

Thanks for the reply.  SAMS does cover the 800XL, which is what I have, and I
have the "ComputerFact" as they call it for the 800XL.  Theres also an Atari
manual I think but not swure if for the XL .
