i just bought an atari assembler/editor from a mail order company. however, i found no doc with it and a cheap plastic bag with a hand written label stated it's atari assembler/editor. they have a price list with the package which stated that the manual is $9.00 . i'm wondering if atari editor/assembler comes with a manual. anyways, i will order another package from another company which i'm sure that they will include a manual. it needs time to wait for a new package to come, i request if anybody here in the netland can me a command to active the cartridge. at least i should know if this one is work or not, and i plan to make this as a back-up. unlike most atari game cartridge, it has no display when i powered on my machine. and a advise to some atari fans, be careful to read the ads before you want to buy something from mail order. i also found ICD PR:CONNECTION is fine so far for the serial/modem port (R1:) with my modem, it is working fine with most atari 850 terminal program. they include the public domain programs too. finally, i want if anybody knows a good atari user group where i can buy more public domain disk. i'm tired to download from compuserve, and the expense is high too. thanks in advance for your help.
