I ordered the Chameleon CRT emulator from the Antic Catalog on September
6th.  Here it is October 17 and I still don't have my software.  That was 6
weeks ago (The catalog says wait 3 to 4 weeks for delivery).  I even used my
credit card "for faster service."  I figured that there must be something
wrong so I called the 800 number that I called when I ordered.  They said
that they only take the orders and I would have to call Antic in California
for an answer.  So...I called at 11:00a.m. (thats 8:00a.m. there), I was
pleasantly greeted by someone that informed me that Customer Service was
not opened yet but they would take a message and have someone call me back.
I waited, and waited, no call.  I called them back at 7p.m (4p.m. there).
Customer Service informed me that they were backlogged and my order will be
sent out "soon." "Soon" I asked. That's the best answer I could get.

This is the first time I have ever ordered from the Antic Catalog (and
maybe the last).

Is this the norm for Antic?  Has anyone else had to wait, and wait, and
wait?

Well, I finally got it.  I posted a message about a week ago complaining
about how long it is taking to receive my software from Antic.  Here it is
6 weeks later, I got my Chameleon.  Antic also sent a letter explaining why
it took sooooooooo long.  It seems they are changing over to a new system
that will speed up service.  To "patch things up," Antic sent me a ten
dollar coupon good for my next purchase.  I must admit, Antic has pretty
good prices to start off with but with ten dollars off their software is
looking better and better.  It also looks like I will be doing business
with Antic again.  I just thought I would fill everyone in.

I have had problems with Antic too.  I ordered a book from them on
Sept 17th, the check was cashed on 9/24 now it's 10/27 and no book!!!
