Since my first posting I have received a lot of mail to go ahead with the project. Is there anyone out there who might have the time to devote to writing some of the low level device handlers, etc? I propose that the handler emulate all of the existing 850 commands. I tall order, I admit, but it should be worth it as the 850 does not really handle speeds higher that 2400 baud too well.
