There were rumors earlier to the effect of Atari (DRI??) rewritting the documentation for the developers kit, as well as improving the compiler, linker, assembler. Can anyone fill us in on the status of these??? Are they for real?? Should we wait for them or are they so far in the future that one shouldn't wait?? I desperately need the info, but don't want to spend my money on "bad" documention when there is any better to be had. ( I have the Abacus dox's already, enough spent on unclear documentation... ) Thanx <ras>

So don't wait! -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Erik James Freed Aurora Systems San Francisco, CA {dual, ptsfa}!aum!freed

We are working on a project to completely re-write the system documentation. The writing should be complete by late Summer (this is a _big_ project). Once done, we have a deal with a major book publisher to get this into book form and into dealers and book sellers, a la the Commodore programmers reference guide books. We should see this by the end of the year, but I can't imagine how we could get it out sooner than that. --->Neil @ Atari Usenet: ...lll-crg!vecpyr!atari!neil BIX: neilharris CIS: 70007,1135 Atari BBS: 408-745-5308 or 745-2642
