I can sympathize with franco@indiana about posting binaries. Some sites are bound to get corrupted files and then requests pour in to the sender for a re-post. (I have to admit to being guilty of this also.) The solution, of course, is for some site to volunteer space to keep public domain software, ala Simtel20 for CPM and IBM software, accessible by anonymous FTP. Since the system that I'm on usually has 1Mb of free space I am sorry to say that I am in no position to volunteer so please don't flame me. - Robert Ling <rling@uw-june.arpa>
