I work with both the (512K) Mac(at work) and a (1Meg) 520ST (at home)
...there is no comparison in my mind...the ST is 'better' for ME...
(obviously not because it has more software [since it doesn't] -
as you must be trying to point out)...nevertheless even the ST software is
coming along...most Mac developers appear to be porting their software
over...and a number of third party developers are developing software for the
ST that is and may not be available to the Mac.

Ever try doing data flow diagrams with MacDraw...forget it...tho' i have
done them fairly easily on the ST with EasyDraw...(MacDraw forgot why anyone
would want an arc to have an arrow at the end)

..."better" is such a curious word...does a machine with no color option,
bizarre communications architecture and limited expansion mean better???
I, of course, do not imply that that the Mac is without virtues. Apple
had a corner on the market a few years ago...but their are other machines
with equal and superior hardware characteristics today. If 'better' is
only software then the Mac is also quickly losing that edge and check
back in a three or four months (i think the Mac software edge will be
zip).

this is a plea not a flame, PLEASE let's not start another "my
computer is better than yours" debate, every computer has its merits
or they wouldn't get sold, lets leave it at that PLEASE
