I had a quick peek at the Atari booth in Hannover the other day. They were not showing the ms-dos cartridge/emalator yet, which was rumoured to be there. They said they expected it in june. Price unknown. The booth was a small one, with atari giving away brochures, and some people, supposedly from small companies, showing some stuff on ST's. I've seen someone playing with habacad, someone playing with musical apparatus via the MIDI interface, someone with a CCD camera and a printer connected to the ST, and someone with stuff for industrial automation. However, no shocking innovations. -- Frans Meulenbroeks until May 1, 1986: Philips Microprocessor Development Systems ...!{seismo|philabs|decvax}!mcvax!philmds!frans

Not quite true, they have shown a prototype of a MSDOS-Emulator (not PCDOS). It comes with an 8MHz 808[86], 512KB ram (useable as RAM-Disk from TOS) and MSDOS 2.11 (not sure about this). The emulator should be ready for delivery fall '86. Achim <loerke@infbs.uucp>
