If you look into a public domain program with SID you might sometimes find a copyright entry of DRI or other companies. This doesn't always imply that this software is a black copy. Keep in mind that the librarys of the development kit for instance got also copyright entries. So if you write software under C you'll find a DRI copyright somewhere.
