Can anybody tell me how to program the AY-*-* sound chip built in the ST? It looks rather difficult to me to do this via the Giaccess() call every time, cause it's hard to tell which 16 bit number plays a middle C. Maybe someone could explain how the xbios-call do_sound() works. I'm writing on a music application which plays sheet music, but should also be able to use the simple synthesizer possibilities of the sound chip, such as attack, hold, continue, vibrato. Anyone knows about the AMY sound chip that is being developed (when it's coming out, prize, etc.)?
