[] Well, I just got the 520ST and so far I'm very impressed. I've been mostly using the vt52 emulator to work on a VAX at the office, and the text display is absolutely gorgeous (I have the monochrome system) - razor sharp and steady as a rock. I don't think Atari emphasizes this enough in their ads - I'd say this is the easiest display on the eyes short of a sun. Anyway, I have a few questions - Could someone who has a good termcap entry for the vt52 emulator built in to the ST email it to me? Is kermit, or some package that supports the kermit file transfer protocol, available for the ST? I'm looking for a good C compiler for the ST so I can start hacking! I'd like any comments and/or minireviews from people who are using compilers. I guess the obvious choice is to order the development system from Atari. Is there any glaring reason not to do this? Things that would prevent me from ordering it include: It does not support the full C language. It has serious bugs. It has stupid limits, i.e. 52 cases per switch, 634 characters per macro, etc. Isaac Dimitrovsky 251 Mercer Street, New York NY 10012 (212) 674-8652 allegra!cmcl2!csd2!dimitrov (l in cmcl2 is letter l not number 1) You know the great thing about tv?
