This conference suffers from (1) entries getting submitted in duplicate or triplicate, sometimes over a period of three weeks; (2) excessive quoting of previous messages in letters that really don't add much; and (3) too goddamned many header lines in each message; that "fix your mailer" line is especially redundant. The conference info-ibmpc suffers from none of these, probably because it has a moderator (the job rotates weekly, I believe). Short of getting a moderator, the best thing that could happen would be for info-atari16 to get filtered through a program that filtered out old or empty messages BEFORE they are sent out to us listeners. --> Do such programs already exist? - Dan (kegel@juliet.caltech.edu, kegel@citjulie.bitnet)
