I am looking for a good atari dealer in the Maryland or Washington
D.C. area (within about 40 miles). I haven't seen too many that sell
(let alone service) the 520's or 1040's. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

For a serious Atari dealer, try: Applied Computers, Inc. Phone: (301) 948-0256 16220 Frederick Road (800) 4-ATARIS Gaithersburg, MD 20877 (I *said* they were a serious Atari dealer!) They seem like nice folks and have a good stock of hardware, software, books, and magazines. I have not had serious dealings with them other than to buy books, but I got good vibes about them from my one visit. Incidentally, they are located at the intersection of Shady Grove Road and Frederick Road (Rt. 355), on the southwest corner, about the second business from the corner.
