#! /bin/sh
# This is a shell archive, meaning:
# 1. Remove everything above the #! /bin/sh line.
# 2. Save the resulting text in a file.
# 3. Execute the file with /bin/sh (not csh) to create the files:
#	README
#	emacs.rc
# This archive created: Tue May 27 10:21:09 1986
export PATH; PATH=/bin:$PATH
echo shar: extracting "'README'" '(820 characters)'
if test -f 'README'
then
echo shar: will not over-write existing file "'README'"
else
cat << \SHAR_EOF > 'README'
Here is u-emacs for the ST ...
Enclosed also an emacs.rc which will set up some bindings.
It should be on the same disk as emacs.tos
The Arrow keypad is set up thus:-

Arrow keys:	as you would expect!

ESC INSERT:	Scroll forward other window
Clr/home:	Scroll back
ESC Clr/home:	Scroll back other window
HELP: Start of line
UNDO: End of line
ESC Right ARR:	Hunt forward
ESC Left ARR:	Hunt Back

Ctl X C :	Execute command.prg (This must be on the current disk/path)
ESC S: Execute ST command or file.
		NOTE:	PWD (print current path)
CD B:\fred	(Change disk and/or path)

NOTES:	U-emacs restricts itself to about 140K. This is to allow
room to load command.prg, make etc etc.
This can be overridden on the command line by a %SPACE entry
(you'll have to make emacs a .ttp file to do this)
