[net.micro.atari16] MicroRTX, multi-tasking for ST, anybody tried it yet?

rb@cci632.UUCP (Rex Ballard) (06/25/86)

In the June "Nanobytes" section of Byte, there was a little
blurb on a product called MicroRTX now available for the
Atari. Appearently, it is a superset operating system that
can be put on top of GEM, meaning that current ST software
can be run in a multi-tasking environment.

Has anybody tried this? Has anybody seen any reviews?

i have tried MicroRTX and it does work as advertised, i have a demo
of the system which i posted many eons ago and will send you if you
wish. for me the Micro-cshell is the better offering, giving much of
the power and flexibility of UNIX (tm). There is a rumor that they
have a device that fits on the bus connector and gives a full SCSI
interface, does anyone know more about this ?????
