[net.micro.atari16] Help with 'Pawn'

I first posted this in NET.GAMES, but got not response. So here goes.


I am trying to get past the dragon without having the adventurer with me.
I have read the clues about offering food and illuminating it for him, but
either I am offering the wrong food or I am not "illuminating" it in the
right manner. Direct or indirect answer appreciated.
