I have lately received a bunch of mail requesting uuencoded versions of 'make' that i posted last week. Sorry for not replying individually. I do NOT intend to post a uuencoded version of make to the net because: - There are too many (compile time) configurable parameters (see rules.c and h.h). - I am not sure what you would want make for if you do not have a C compiler. I can see the need for make to maintain Oss pascal programs. i have never gotten the Oss linker to link successfully from a command line (it always shows some undefined symbol, so do not ask me to configure up a make with default rules for Oss Pascal, unless you also tell me how to correctly run it from the command line). Modula people don't need it, as the new version has mdesk. Besides i don't know how to run modula ii from a command line. - People who have C compilers other than Alcyon or Megamax. Don't be LAZY -:). Post the diffs. -- Jwahar R. Bammi Usenet: .....!decvax!cwruecmp!bammi CSnet: bammi@case Arpa: bammi%case@csnet-relay CompuServe: 71515,155
