I have a problem and perhaps one of you folks "out there" can
help me. I need an assembler for the 1040ST rather badly.
I have a copy of the one in the "starter kit", but either
there is something wrong with it (unlikely) or there is something
wrong with the way I am using it (probably).
Can someone out there either:
a) send me directions (preferably pretty explicit) on how
to use the assembler I have;
b) send me a PD assembler, preferably with (explicit)
instructions.
OR
c) tell me where I can find a good assembler. The only
one I have actually seen in a store costs an awful lot.
Thanks in advance for the help.

I can recommend the K-Seka package from Antic catalog as a good assembler. It assembles in memory, so its awfully fast (somthing like 30,000 lpm is advertised). It comes with a symboic debugger etc, and its relatively inexpensive $35. The main problem that i have found with it is that it does'nt have a 'include' type directive. SO even though you can develope a bunch of utility macros, they are not easy to include (you have to do it manually using the editor). I personally have switched to Hi-Softs Devpak St, but i am not sure if that is available in the US. At least i have not seen it.
