[net.micro.atari16] uEmacs Source?

ACS19@UHUPVM1.BITNET (08/22/86)

First of all, thank you for all the replys on getting STKermit (there really
are some people out there)!!! I got all the many parts with no problem,
however, I can not get any of the UUE files to decode correctly. I compiled
the source for UUdecode and I can't get it to decode correctly. The problem
seems to be that the gateway adds spaces at the end of every line to make all
lines 80 characters, and I know that tabs are being expanded, too (but I don't
think that is the problem). No biggee, I just needed the source.

Now, where or who can I get a copy of the source for ST MicroEmacs from?

And to answer all the people in netland wondering about the keyboard mod to
keep the system time running. I am the one who posted the note, but have been
too lazy to put up the schematic (that and a few bugs to fix ... the charging
circuit is weak, and my mouse started to drift after the mod). But we'll get
it together soon, and share it with the rest of the universe.

Once more: send me an ST-formatted single sided disk and an approriate
SASE, and I'll return it with my version of microEMACS, both source
and executable (and some doc). Note: my version is NOT related to
the 3.6, 3.7 etc. versions originating from Daniel Lawrence. My version
is much simpler, on purpose. It is designed for convenience when writing
program files on the ST. It's also good for data files, and short letters.
(word processing is possible with the proff formatter, also on the disk).
The source code will also compile on UN*X, VMS, CP/M, and MSDOS.
On the ST the function keys are used, but the original control-character
command invocations also work.
