[] A quote from "ST internals" (the Abacus book that us traitors who refused to spend $300 on a mediocre C compiler + some IBM-PC-GEM docs have to live with until X-MAS): "The bit-block transfer is used by the text-block transfer... A6 must contain a pointer to a parameter table. Unfortunately, the construction of this parameter table could not be determined... Our attempts led to classic system crashes... we cannot say much about the function." And I presume they did have the developer's package... One of the wonders of the information age is that people go into so much trouble to create software, but then neglect to disseminate (or create) the information that would make it useful.
