[net.micro.atari16] SMM804 Printer?

    Does anybody have specs on the Atari SMM804 printer.  I need info
 like speed, compatability with other micro's, what ribbons does it
 use...etc...

    Also can anyone help me on this one:

	I just bought the Developer's Kit(sic) and I was using some VDI
 calls and I noticed that when I changed the color using vs_color of color
 3 (which is green by default I think) to blue the desktop also turns blue
 Is there anyway around this besides making another call to vs_color with
 the original rgb numbers.

    I have had to SMM804 printer for a few months now without having
any problems. It seems to go through ribbons fast, but I did quite a
few screen dumps when I first bought it. The speed is 80cps. It is
bi-directional. It is a graphics printer and, I think, the same as
an Epson lx80 under the cover.
