[net.micro.atari16] Questions on Drivers and Laser Printer

I have two questions to pose to the net:

1) A friend of mine has a Panasonic T40 Electronic Typewriter with a K100
   interface.  He's trying to get it to print from First Word, first 
   trying both the daisy wheel drivers that come with the program.
   Unfortunately, neither of them worked.  Does anyone know of any printer
   driver or modification of one that could be used with this electronic
   typewriter?

2) Is there any way to make files from, say First Word, compatible with 
   Mac files so one can print the result to a laser printer?  Has anyone
   tried such a file transfer?  

   BTW, Atari claims that they will be bringing the laser printer out 
   around 2nd quarter next year...
